Here’s an Indus Valley pottery bowl. It’s around 4000 years old and it’s for sale at Antiques On High in Bowness, Cumbria (The Lake District) The Indus Valley is in modern day Pakistan / Northern India. This early civilisation is known for creating pots like this one, but the plainer, undecorated versions are more common. Painted Indus Valley pots / bowls like this one are much rarer.
