The easiest & least expensive way of moving about downtown Cincinnati & the neighborhood to its north, Over-the-Rhine is by the Cincinnati Connector Streetcar. It's a short loop system run with real European trams, the only thing on rails in this city that isn't freight or Amtrak! Has the city's investment in this line as a way of bringing back blighted neighborhoods working in citizens' favor? We won't likely know in any definitive way, given our short timeframe of a few hours spent here, but a brief look is better than staying home!
