Together with Juan Carlos Bagnell (better known as SomeGadgetGuy), Qualcomm is answering questions about Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound from fans in our Snapdragon Insiders community. So what specific questions do our Snapdragon Insiders have about Snapdragon Sound? One of our Snapdragon Insiders wanted to know: Can you connect two speakers to one phone or one device? Senior Manager, Product Marketing, Qualcomm Technologies, International, Ltd. Sarah McMurray responded with a resounding yes. Technically, wireless earbuds are two different speakers, so that connection is already happening. And things are about to get a whole lot more interesting: the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) will soon ratify a new specification for Bluetooth LE Audio. The new codec will make it possible to connect multiple speakers or many wireless headphones to one phone.
