While working at Duke, staff and faculty take advantage of a wide range of resources, including serving as a DJ for the campus radio station. WXDU invites Duke community members to volunteer as a DJ and go through a series of trainings before eventually being handed their very own timeslot on air. “I think my favorite thing about being here and volunteering and deejaying is the exposure to new music,” said Miguel Bordo, Manager of Instructional Technology for Duke Law School. “We get promos, physical promos, CDs and vinyl. We get digital promos. For me it’s fun to pick and choose!” Watch our video and learn what inspires colleagues to volunteer their time and remix the airwaves on WXDU.
