During the Siege of Petersburg in 1864-1865, the small water town of City Point, Virginia, became the headquarters of the United Stated Army in the Eastern Theater. Lt. Gen. Ulysses S. Grant lived here from June 1864 through the end of the Civil War and hosted numerous meetings with names such as Abraham Lincoln and William T. Sherman. Join Garry Adelman, Kris White, Will Greene and Jimmy Blankenship for a tour of "Grant's Headquarters at City Point," part of Petersburg National Battlefield. This video is part of our tour series commemorating the 160th Anniversary of the Appomattox Campaign.
