TI-30 LANGUAGE Letters marked as "Uncommon" mean that the letters that the numbers represent aren't typically used in Calculator spelling. I will show how I derived these uncommon ones all the way down below. • 0 = O/D / U (Uncommon) • 1 = I / L (Uncommon) • 2 = Z / n (Uncommon) / C (Uncommon) / S (Uncommon) • 3 = E / w (Uncommon) / m (Uncommon) • 4 = h/A/ F (Uncommon)/ k (Uncommon) / R (Uncommon) • 5 = S • 6 = g/q / a (Uncommon) / d (Uncommon) • 7 = L/t / u (Uncommon) / R (Uncommon) / F (Uncommon) / v (Uncommon) / C (Uncommon) • 8 = B • 9 = G/b / P (Uncommon) TI-30 LANGUAGE RULES: #1 Sometimes TI-30 will use the same number that will represent the same letters in his screen. ITFT [6:00] Timestamp 8:47 , 4373 = HERE ITFT [6:00] Timestamp 8:59 , 7531355 = USELESS #2 Sometimes TI-30 will use the same number that will represent DIFFERENT letters in his screen. ITFT [6:00] Timestamp 8:58 , 71647 = LIGHT #3 TI-30 (at least for now) will NEVER use DIFFERENT numbers that represent the SAME letters on his screen. UNCOMMON DERIVATIONS: • 0 = U (remove top part of 0) • 2 = C (take top half of 2, flip horz) • 2 = n (90 deg clockwise/anticlock) • 2 = S (flip horz) • 3 = w (90 deg clockwise) • 3 = m (90 deg anti-clockwise) • 4 = F (take bottom part of 4, 90 deg anticlock, whole thing 90 deg clockwise) • 4 = k (180 deg clock, clone long leg + flip clone horz) • 4 = Y (bottom part of 4 moves to the left a bit) (consistency unsure) • 6 = a (90 deg clockwise + flipped horz) • 6 = d (flipped horz) • 7 = R (add vert line next to 7?) • 7 = u (90 deg clockwise) • 7 = F (flip horz) • 7 = v (90 deg clockwise) • 7 = C (flip horz?) • 9 = P (flip horz) • 7 = Y (no idea) (episode 5) • 6 = H (take bottom part of 6, 90 deg clockwise, put on right side of 6) (episode 5) • 5 = R (create R with the little lines of 5) (episode 5) Episode 5 means that some of TI-30's language might be slightly different than of Episode 6.
