What Could WB Games Montreal's Second Project Be?

It’s no news that WB Games Montreal is working on another AAA DC video game besides Gotham Knights. Even with several project cancellations in the past, the studio always had a couple of games in development for being one of WBIE’s largest subsidiaries. From old to new job listings for senior game designer and senior gameplay / animation programmer on their website, it’s possible to gather some crucial piece of information on what we should expect to see from them after the release of the upcoming Gotham Knights next year. The senior game designer job description revealed that it’s going to be a third-person open world action game. This job was taken from July to now. The senior gameplay / animation programmer job has been posted recently and mentions a new IP, which could actually mean a lot of things, from a game set in a brand new continuity to a game set in the universe established by Gotham Knights. It’s important to note, however, because this specific job posting says “cross-platform gameplay systems”, that the new IP could also be Gotham Knights itself. We’ll have to wait and see for more clues. A lot of people are speculating that this could finally be the time we see a standalone open world Superman game. We know for a fact that, at some point, WB Games Montreal did have a Superman game in development that ended up getting canceled (watch The Arkham Channel’s previous upload).
