Armed Police Enhances Real Combat Skills in Hostage-Saving Drill

A special force detachment of China's Yunnan Armed Police Corps recently carried out an anti-terrorism drill in a real combat scenario, aiming to enhance their ability to handle emergencies. The drill took place in southwest China's Yunnan Province, with an ultimate goal of saving hostage from "terrorists". As the "terrorists" were hiding inside a building, it might put the hostage's life at great risk if the soldiers simply break in. Following the orderly instructions of the commanders, the soldiers were divided into several groups, and quickly completed the deployment of drones for scouting. Also an encirclement was formed around the target building. At this point, the "terrorists" seemed aware of the danger and became rather impulsive. The commander quickly changed the plan in line with the changing situation, and assigned two groups to kill the "terrorists". Since the "terrorists" may kill the hostage at any time, the commander called the attack decisively. The attack started following a shot by the sniper.
