ALL THIS FISHING TACKLE WAS FREE !

So from this year 2026 onwards my plan is to collect a bunch of tackle that is heading for the bin or being gifted away for free on the internet and aim to gift it to youngsters far and wide. My ideal approach would be to turn up to a club match where juniors will be in full swing with their comp heads on, mum & dad stood behind them, club officials observing the arena, and me keeping watch for anybody sat on a deck chair or one of them folding stool things, and swap them out for a comfy seatbox or an old cane rod for a modern carbon option. That’s the dream anyway, how it’ll pan out for real I don’t know. I also aim to catch some of it on film for the channel, granted not everybody will want to be on camera, but the important thing is leaving knowing some kids will be begging for the Monday off school to go look like their professional angling idols on their new gear. Today I headed to Bradford where a lovely chap posted a bunch of tackle for FREE on marketplace. I told him my intentions for tackle that will suit juniors and he was more than happy to help. Mr Mal Connop was the hero of todays donations and this is the first collection I’ve done where nearly all of the gear will suit young anglers. He even gave me extra tackle on arrival to help with his downsizing house move and like always I did make sure he was ok donating it as I’d hate to leave somebody out of pocket. So, tune in and feast your eyes on some of this stuff. Absolutely blown away and although I aim to gift it youngsters on the bank, this is another prime example of how there’s people out there happy to gift away tackle to save it going in the bin.
