A Slow Weekend in the Oklahoma Hardwoods | We Are Almost Finished with the Interior of the Cabin

It’s a slow, productive weekend back at the cabin in the Oklahoma hardwoods. In this video, I’m wrapping up several cabin projects — building a rustic end table entirely out of 2x4s, staining and installing interior trim, and showing the progress as we get closer to finishing the inside of our cabin. This place has been a year-long project, worked on a little at a time, and it’s rewarding to finally see it coming together. Between projects, we fire up the wood stove, enjoy some unusually warm December weather, and get a campfire going for one of our family favorites — classic hobo dinners cooked right above the coals. Simple food, good fire, and time outside with family is what this place is all about.
