Meet Teresa; she designed & helped build her tiny house on wheels along with a few contractors. She attended a Tumbleweed Tiny House Company workshop and then customized their design plans to build a unique 24 ft tiny house with a downstairs bedroom. She built it for financial security, greater flexibility, and to provide housing for herself & loved ones as needed. She also rented it longer term for those in transition. Over the last decade, Teresa has learned a lot about legal obstacles for tiny homes. She continues to advocate for acceptance in her hometown of Winston-Salem, NC.
