Brian David Stockhoff, age 41, of Jackson, NJ died on February 14, 2022 in Lakewood, NJ. Brian was born and raised in Champagne, Illinois before moving to Bay Head, NJ with his parents and brothers at the age of 9. He also resided in Brick, NJ with his wife and children before moving to Jackson in 2013. Brian was an Officer for the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office and Executive board member acting as Secretary of PBA local 379. He was a United States Army veteran having served two years in Iraq. Brian started at the University of South Florida before deployment. He earned his Associates Degree in science from Ocean County College in 2006. Brian was an avid sports fan that included the NY Yankees and the San Francisco 49ers. His love of sports inspired his children to participate in baseball and football where he also coached for the local teams. He also enjoyed kayaking and horseback riding with is family as well as golfing with his friends. Brian is survived by his wife, Heather Rose Stockhoff of Jackson, NJ and their two children Brody and Madison; his parents Robert and Christine Stockhoff of Bay Head, NJ and Arlington, VT; and his four brothers Clifton Stockhoff of Colorado, Stephen Stockhoff and his wife Maren of Point Pleasant Borough, Kevin Stockhoff and his wife Lisa of Point Pleasant Borough, and Wiggy Stockhoff and his wife Kim of Bay Head, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. A Funeral Service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
