On Thursday 22nd September 2022 a blue plaque was installed and unveiled in commemoration of the former Barnsley actor Brian Glover. The plaque was initially intended to be placed outside the civic theatre however another location had to be sought. Therefore the entrance to Chennell's Bar on Wellington Street was chosen to house the plaque as this one of Brian's favourite Pubs as it featured back in 1976 when this documentary was made and televised.
