#india #gangesriver #indiatravel 🌟Turn on the 【CC】 subtitles! Today, I finally ventured away from the area around my hotel and headed towards another temple. However, I ended up walking down the smelliest street I’ve encountered since arriving in India... I’m usually quite tolerant of smells, but this street was just a mix of everything unpleasant. The surroundings near Assi Ghat are much quieter and more peaceful, but on the flip side, it's also a bit dull. There are hardly any foreigners here, so there aren’t many shops either. What I find puzzling, though, is that Assi Ghat looks like an abandoned or unused temple. The entrance is fenced off, and there’s a ton of garbage piled up around it... that's why I didn’t film much of the temple. On the way back, I met the Varanasi helicopter guy, and he was just too cute. Despite such tough living and working conditions, he remains so cheerful and optimistic. That’s an attitude worth respecting! If the local rickshaw drivers could all have this kind of quality, how great would that be? This is the right way to do business, don’t you think?
