Zieleniec - part of the city of Dusznik-Zdrój, located in the Orlické Mountains, at an altitude of 800-960 m above sea level, in the southern area of the municipal commune; winter sports center. The town borders on the Czech Republic. The entire area of Zieleniec was included in the special protection area "Góry Orlickie" (Natura 2000), as well as the Protected Landscape Area of the Bystrzyckie and Orlickie Mountains. Zieleniec is a popular ski resort, there are 48 ski lifts in its area. In summer, it is a good starting point for trips to the Orlickie Mountains and the nearby Bystrzyckie Mountains. There is the PTTK "Orlica" hostel and the PTSM hostel. From Zieleniec you can go to the Czech Republic; by taking the lift to the Masarykova chata chalet and on the Orlicke Road near Kozia Hala to the village of Olešnice v Orlické horách. Zieleniec has a specific microclimate (the only one of its kind in Poland) - similar to the alpine one.
