Oxhey Skatepark, Watford: 360 VR TOUR OF NEW AMAZING SKATEPARK

Oxhey Skatepark in Watford, England. Address: Watford WD18 0GF https://www.oxheyactivitypark.co.uk/ 00:05 Beginner section 00:36 Deathbox Run 01:08 Snake Run 01:35 Street Section 01:49 Street Section (Second Angle) 02:07 Mini Section This is a great new skatepark which has recently been built on Oxhey Park in Watford. It is like five skate parks put together to make one giant skatepark. Each section catering to different style of rider. Te beginner section is fantastically designed to learn tricks on. Everything is small plus built in a way where you can still flow around. It's rare I see skateparks with a tiny quarter for people to learn to drop in making the half pipe perfect for that. The grind box is about five inches high so you can learn to grind or manual if you're unable to ollie high. The death box run is a fun set of boxes to air the first one being quite low and the second being a bit higher with a camel hump on top. The quarter pipe at the end is a bit strange as it feels like it's meant to be vert but the top section isn't vertical, however this doesn't cause any issues though. The Snake Run is perfect if you want to go fast and carve. In the centre you have the deeper ramps and around the edge are smaller humps where you can practise but you will still gain some speed. There's also a cover quarter pipe at the end which is great for carving to the next set of humps. The street section is a dream for grinds as most of the ledges are made from marble plus there are concrete ones to vary it. There are parts where the ledges drop to a smaller ledge meaning you can grind to manual or if you have the balance you can try and manual the whole centre piece which is very long. There is also two double sets with hand rails at one end of the park and a nice flat bank at the other. Finally the park has a mini ramp section but some of the quarters are not so mini at the far end. There are also plenty of hip and spin transfers on here. The quarter pipes felt a bit steep but they were also very smooth.
