Acura MDX Piston Ring Replacement Part 2 | Oil Consumption Test

You guys ready for part 2? Yeah me neither....Alright so in addition to the ring replacement the customer decided to reseal the oil pump at the same time.The first part of the video goes through resealing the oil pump. Then we pick up where we left off. After the rings are replaced we start off by reinstalling the oil pan. We clean off the old gasket material, install new liquid gasket then reinstall the components in reverse order. On top of the engine we reinstall the heads, torque them to spec and move onto the little things. We reinstall the water passage, the timing belt, the catalytic converters, etc. With the engine reassembled on top we bring the car back up to reinstall the exhaust components. With everything reinstalled we top off the fluids and fire the car up. We check for leaks and let the car run to bleed out any air in the cooling system. After that we're done.
