Tech demo of the Telemetry Overlay application. Quick ride around town with the Wahoo ELEMNT Roam with HR, speed and cadence sensors and a GoPro. A .fit file was exported from the Wahoo iPhone app, combined with GoPro telemetry in the Telemetry Overlay app. What I learned: 1) Telemetry Overlay is intuitive, power, and able to spice up some footage. 2) It's best used in small quantities unless the rider is a world class athlete on a full send, which I am not going to be... ever. 3) Exporting video as a transparent .MOV file is handy and preserves a high fidelity overlay. 4) Action footage is suspect at 30 fps on a dark day - too much motion blur. 5) My iMac is slow. 6) Hills are still my enemy.
