This video is Part 1 of a DVD done in 2004 at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum which was located at Bandana Square in St Paul. The DVD was done by Museum member Paul Greuztman, an expert modeler, craftsman and longtime member of the Museum.. Please check website for details Please also make reservation as space is limited https://www.tcmrm.org/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Trains in the Video The view from the fireman's seat of a steam locomotive on a freight train as it met The Chicago Burlington & Quincy Twin Cities Zephyr with E-7A/ E-7A Diesel Locomotives The photographer’s train was then passed by a Union Pacific RR - 4-8-8-4 - Big Boy Class 4884-1 - Articulated Steam Locomotive with a freight train Great Northern 4-8-4 – Class S2 - Northern Type Steam Locomotive pulling the Oriental Limited passenger train out of the Minneapolis Depot and across the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River Great Northern 4-8-2 – Class P2 - Mountain Type Steam Locomotive pulling a passenger train into the depot Great Northern F-7A / F-7B Diesel Locomotives with a passenger train pulls out of the depot and crosses the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River The Chicago Burlington & Quincy Twin Cities Zephyr with E-7A/ E-7A Diesel Locomotives the passes and enters the depot This train is followed by a Chicago Burlington & Quincy O-5 Class 4-8-4 Northern Type steam locomotive pulling a Circus train Two Great Northern 4-8-4s – Class S2 - Northern Type Steam Locomotives pull the Oriental Limited passenger train pass as they depart from the Minneapolis Depot and cross the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River Streetcars from the Twin City Rapid Transit company are then shown. First a standard streetcar built by the Twin City Rapid Transit shops goes by and then a more modern PCC Car travels across the 3rd Avenue Bridge to East Minneapolis Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe - The Santa Fe - E-6A / E-6B Diesel Locomotives with a passenger train enters the depot Chicago Burlington & Quincy O-5 Class 4-8-4 Northern Type steam locomotive pulling a passenger train enters the depot Milwaukee Road F-7A / F-7B Diesel Locomotives with the Twin Cities Hiawatha passenger train pulls out of the Minneapolis Depot Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe - The Santa Fe - Two Faribanks Morse CFA-16 Diesel Locomotives with a passenger train enters the depot Milwaukee Road F-7 Steam Locomotive with the Twin Cities Hiawatha passenger train pulls into the Minneapolis Depot various freight and passenger trains move through the depot Great Northern 4-8-2 – Class P2 - Mountain Type Steam Locomotive pullsg a frieght train across a bridge The Chicago Burlington & Quincy E-8A/ E-8A Diesel Locomotives pull the NP North Coast Limited - between St Paul and Chicago Several Great Northen freight trains pass -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Twin City Model Railroad Museum has many of different types of trains, buildings and other models – of all sizes. There are many different model gauges and scales including: O Scale - the internationally renowned O Scale layout G - Garden – about 1/24th Standard Gauge -1/32nd O Scale – 1/48th - Lionel Trains LEGO Scale - 1/55th S Scale – 1/64th – American Flyer Trains OO Scale 1/72nd HO Scale – 1/87th N Scale 1/ 160th Z scale – 1/220th Toy trains are also represented from different manufacturers including: Lionel, American Flyer, Märklin Marx Hornby and others ---------------------------------------------------------- The Children's Area has many different layouts for the girls and boys to operate as well as work tables where they can create and build models and run wooden trains.
