The power of synergies Ioannis Fallas is a co-founder and director of the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia-CluBE since 2014. He holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and continued his studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a PhD in Clusters, in the Traditional Sectors of the Economy. He has many years of experience as a Project Manager in European, Cross-Border and Interregional Programs. He has coordinated and implemented numerous proposals and has collaborated with several small and medium-sized enterprises. He is concerned with issues such as the environment, energy, bioenergy, bioeconomy and circular economy, industrial symbiosis, urban and rural development and entrepreneurship. He was a member of the European Bioeconomy Panel of the European Commission (DG RTD) and co-founder of the Greek Forum for Bioeconomy. Nikolaos Ntavos is a Co-Founder and Manager of the Cluster for Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia – CluBE since 2014. He is a mechanical engineer, holder of a postgraduate diploma from the University of Western Macedonia, and continues his development as a doctoral candidate in the field of green hydrogen. He is concerned with issues such as environment, energy, bioenergy, hydrogen, bioeconomy and circular economy, industrial symbiosis, urban and rural development, and entrepreneurship. For this reason, he is active and works as project manager since 2008, in various European Union programs.
