In this video I show you how I clean the heat risers on a typical single port air cooled engine. The heat riser pipes typically get clogged up over time with carbon and prevents the proper function of the heat riser. In colder conditions this can cause the engine to run poorly since the fuel coming out of the carburetor is too cold. The heat riser is there to bring exhaust heat to the manifold in order to avoid the fuel freezing up in the intake. I hope you find something useful in this video.
