As many of you know, most of the US was hit the week of Christmas 2022 with a once-in-a-lifetime polar blast. During this #winterstorm Ken's area of Florida saw sustained temperatures well below freezing. Many of Ken's plants and fruit trees were decimated by the cold. Among which was his Meyer lemon tree. This #recipe is based upon the one shared online by the @texasprepper2 YouTube channel. The only differences in the recipe are that Ken used fresh lemon juice from his Meyer lemon tree, and Ken also used off-brand #dutchfarms #creamcheese and #foodclub #sweetenedcondensedmilk. Meyer Lemon Juice Premade Graham Cracker Crust Pie Shell Using an electric mixer, cream the cream cheese slowly with a can each of the sweetened condensed milk. Slowly add in the lemon juice. Pour batter into the pie shell, cover, and refrigerate for a minimum of 12 hours before serving. (NOTE: To change the flavor, you can use virtually any citrus juice so long as it is tart.)
