It is designed for members of the general public who want to know more about archaeology and prehistory, and for researchers who want a better idea of production processes, but don't necessarily have the time to experiment. This video was produced as part of the Hands on Harpoons research project, which was created to learn more about how bone tools are made and how to identify manufacture marks and the tools that created them, following extensive exposure to African prehistoric bone tools whilst working for the In Africa Project www.in-africa.org.
