Feel the Rope Burn, by Patterns of Life

Melodic instrumental. This idea started out as trying to do different melodies to how I normally work and, in this, I feel I succeeded. It evolved into a complete piece over a few days as I came up with the bass and pad to go with the melodies, and then added to the simple drum pattern I'd used for timekeeping whilst playing the melodies. Very pleased with the result, so decided it could be a video project - the one proviso was no rope video/ pictures! I originally thought of lots of abstract footage joined together, but a lot of the imagery created in this video is via the use of Chromakey, and the mash up of 2 or 3 video clips together. I hope you find interesting.
