@kaikaioyarzabal new short film, Shot between end September to November before a brutal winter arrival, Kailani enjoyed automn fall season to the fullest. Riding 11 different boards from 3'11" to 4'4", 4'6" to 4'9", trusters, TWINfin, assym, quad most of them who77 shapes, also a cabianca stepdown the medina model Wich was transformed from a Truster to a quad due to a large round tail. Also riding a fork nose assym tail TWINfin and others boards. 3 sessions stands out of the edit with 2 super sessions at KK's favorite wave lafitenia and a session shot from above in the Spanish side... Not kaikai's first clip but her first true short film with a more complicated edition.... without telling her, we were pushing kaikai to try to go bigger and harder because, daddy had a plan to put kailani in her first video contest of 60sec clips organized since many years by a legend of the surf, Barton Lynch who created the BLblastoff video challenge... A 7 weeks competiton where so many kids from all around the world upload their videos to compete in a modern digital format.... KAILANI made the Final, final 4 and runner up in the girls 10y division Wich was a super cool and honorable result... Congrats Kailani and still a lot to learn of course... And it will be time to get out of the confort zone in 2022. kailani turned 10 years old the 29th December 2021.... 10 years already. Time is flying...
