(1954) is a classic black-and-white science fiction horror film directed by Gordon Douglas. Set in the New Mexico desert, the story follows police officers, scientists, and the military as they uncover a terrifying threat: giant, mutants that were created by atomic radiation. As the creatures spread, humanity must fight to stop them before they destroy civilization. It’s considered one of the first and best “big bug” movies of the 1950s atomic-age sci-fi era.
