The Cairn Terrier. She’s a terrier through and through. She’s a confident, brave little thing with an inquisitive streak. Having a bold spirit and a resilience that gives her real appeal, she comes across as quite a clever dog. She’s a dog of two sides, stubborn yet responsive; a roughian yet sensitive. She absolutely loves playing with kids, and because she’s quite hardy she can take some quite vigorous play. Other dogs and small animals see a different side to her though, she can be a bit snappy with them. Watch your garden, as she loves a good dig! This dog also tends to bark a fair bit, chase stuff and embark on exploratory sniff arounds. She’s a working terrier so should be game for anything you throw at her, within reason. Her coat is weather resistant too, with a soft undercoat and harsh outer layer.
