This is a karaoke style video with the scrolling text to the song, entitled "Our Disunited States". The song was inspired in part by my partner taking the US Citizenship test, and commenting how great the American foundational values are that every aspiring new citizen must be aware of. If only we can all live up to them. The song is at once a lamentation about the state of our democracy and a call for restoration of those core values that have long been the reason the entire world has looked to America as a beacon of hope for oppressed people everywhere. We are in danger of completely losing our way, and any moral high ground we may have thought we had. Let's get back on track.
