First Day of Decatur & Eastern Illinois Railroad Operations!

September 8th, 2018 marks the first day of Watco's Decatur & Eastern Illinois Railroad operations. In the first few scenes, INRD 3801 and 3805 lead 7 other units west towards Paris on the first through train on this portion of the Danville Secondary in over two years. At Paris, they took the two INRD units and the 5569 and 5554 out of the consist for local trains down there. From there on, a power move consisting of only 5 units continued on their journey north towards Chrisman where it swung onto the Decatur Subdivision.
