In the first part of this teaching, we look at what the Torah has to say about the Passover, especially about the timing and sequence of events that surround the Passover at the time of the exodus from Egypt. Having the correct sequence of events is crucial for us, as we are commanded to guard this day as an everlasting remembrance. When is the meal eaten? Should we be putting blood on the lintels of our doors? Did the Israelites plunder the Egyptians before or after the meal? In the second half of this teaching, we ask and answer the question: was the Last Supper a Passover meal? Only once we have a correct understanding of the first Passover can we properly answer that question. What do we do with the conflicting information presented in the Gospels? Can these anomalies be resolved with a proper Hebraic understanding? We hope this teaching is a blessing to you. EDIT: At 1:19:15, it is the phrase "the first one" ("foremost" in the KJV), not "in front" that is translated from "rishon." However, the word still has the connotation of "being in front of." There was a typo in my notes. However, in the following passage at 1:20:25, the word "rishon" is translated as "in front." I must have clearly got my notes a little muddled up.
