As an ambitious eight-year-old, she ruthlessly plagiarized her favorite horse stories. Since then, her writing has improved in quality and originality. She holds a BA in human ecology from College of the Atlantic and has worked in land planning, pipefitting, and drafting. She is a Civil War reenactor who met her husband on the battlefield. She is also the author of "Bead of Sand" and "lives in Massachusetts".
