Firstly, we have to say that climbing the 1,237 steps to the top of the hill was quite a challenging and exhausting experience. While the views from the top were stunning, we personally don't think it was worth the effort and discomfort of the climb. Additionally, the temple complex itself was fairly underwhelming compared to other temples we've visited in Thailand. However, we do acknowledge that the Tiger Cave Temple holds significant cultural and historical importance for the local community, and we respect that. It is a peaceful and serene place, with beautiful natural surroundings and a sense of tranquility. Overall, while the Tiger Cave Temple may not be the most exhilarating tourist attraction in Krabi, we still recommend it as a place to visit for those interested in Buddhism and Thai culture, or for those seeking a quiet and reflective spot away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
