TV EYE - “RUSH HOUR” Rush hour is the English name for the busy part of the day when towns and cities are crowded, whether in the morning when people travel to work or in the afternoon when people return home. This phenomenon is well known to all residents of large cities, especially working people, when they pass such traffic jams at least twice a day. Inspired by the unfortunately increasingly frequent and frequent traffic jams in Zagreb, the guys from TV EYE have composed an energetic and lively song, which nevertheless looks at this urban disaster from the brighter side, stimulating listeners more to dance than to anger or rage. The song evokes the nostalgic, fun and cheerful side of original rock’n’roll, as a kind of homage to its legendary greats. The sound that the keyboards of singer-songwriter Zvonka Obajdin, who makes a guest appearance on this composition, certainly contributes to this. You might get stuck in rush hour and be late, but with a song by Tv Eye, your time will definitely pass more pleasantly, more fun, and maybe even get you dancing, if the summer crowds stop the traffic. TV EYE signed an exclusive contract with Croatia Records last year and is preparing a new album, and this is the third single in a row from that upcoming release. The band, known for their exciting and danceable live performances, spent the past year playing numerous gigs across Croatia, and opened this year in a new guise with an impressive performance at the Zagreb open air festival “Gajnice vrište”. Namely, the band has been joined by new lead guitarist Tom Šlogar, a professor of music production at the United Academy, who also signed the mix and mastering of this release. The video for the song was shot and directed by Igor Cecelja.
