Pot Shot starts with a lullaby which represents the birth of my daughter in 2020. This turbulent time in the world (not going to mention the new 'C' word) is reflected in the dark and mysterious narrative of this composition. The ups and downs of that period in time have been captured in my expressive musical form. Juxtaposed with the chaos of living in that time period is the beautiful vocal carried by Rachel Clarke @elisa.with.an.s , eluding to the fact that it's not all bad and there is light at the end of the tunnel. The name 'Pot Shot' represents my eternal dream of writing and releasing my own musical compositions, and taking my best un-aimed shot at all it involves.
