Diablo Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Adam Clark, Distinctive Schools CEO Scott Frauenheim, University of Iowa Assistant Professor Stephen Murley, and Education Research and Development Institute (ERDI) CEO and President Dr. Jennifer Ferrari discuss building and retaining a K-12 educator workforce at the 2023 ASU+GSV Summit. This panel of highly esteemed and experienced K-12 district leaders will discuss ways to strengthen the education pipeline and bolster workforce development with a focus on creating a more equitable workforce that reflects the diversity of the student population. Panelists will share best practices and effective partners in each of the following six categories: Pre-Service Efforts; Recruitment; Induction & Onboarding; Professional Development & Culture; Retention & Talent Management; and Succession Planning. This panel of district leaders has worked together collaboratively and in partnership with other district leaders to lead for equity by building the right conditions and culture in their unique K-12 circumstances.
