There are also some small changes in the padding of the flute to make it more resonant. Perhaps the most important change though is the new headjoint design. It's based on the old S cut design but it has a new lip-plate shape and embouchure design. Like any great headjoint cut it balances resistance with expression and we've been very impressed with the new headjoint design.
