The Band of the Welsh Guards supporting the first ever 'Sunday Parade' at Buckingham Palace on Sunday 30th March 2025. This new ceremony is instead of a normal Changing of the Guard on a Sunday only and instead includes a trooping of the colour through the King's Guard, an inspection of the guard on the palace forecourt and a march to and from St James's Palace. The guard are formed from 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards. This event also marks the first day of 'British Summer Time' where the guards change into their summer scarlet tunics from the winter atholl greatcoats that were worn since late October.
