Today we’re comparing the Harley Benton HB-35 Plus and the Ibanez AS73FM to find out which is the better budget Gibson 335-style guitar! I should start by saying these are both excellent guitars for the money – at €249, the HB-35 Plus is simply a bit of a steal, while the Ibanez Artcore range is stuffed full of top quality semi-acoustics, the AS73FM being the most affordable (mine cost me about €399 when I bought it new). The amp went from the Red Box DI straight into my Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, which went into Logic Pro X. That's it. No post-processing on the sounds was done.
