INKS MAKE THIS BOARD SOUND NUTTY. The board went from midtier to high tier with the addition of the silicon dampener and switch swap to Gateron Ink Black switches. It is literally night and day and I love this damn thing. These made my V1 Inks shine. The feel is not as flexible now that I have the dampener, but it sounds AMAAAAZING. The edge for best sounding board I've used still goes to the Lyn Whale with pom half and ink blacks.. but this got pretty damn close. I built my Matrix 1.2og with the same switches and this sounds as good or better depending on who you ask. It's craaazy. If you don't like how it looks though.. that's it. You won't buy the board. Good thing is that there are so many other options for people to try.
