Taipei's Elephant Mountain Hike | Our journey to Taiwan!

Take a journey with us to Taipei (台北) Taiwan (台湾) where we hike Elephant Mountain (象山) to catch the best views of Taipei and the famous Taipei 101 building. The Elephant Mountain Trail is located in the Xinyi District and easily accessible off the Taipei MRT train system at the Xiangshan Station red line stop. It takes around 20 to 30 minutes to hike Elephant Mountain. The hike has 600 feet (183m) of elevation gain and is 0.93 miles long (1.5 km) round trip In Taipei we also explored the night markets (Shilin and Ningxia night markets are two of the largest), Freedom Square, and the old Japanese-era gold mining town of Jiufen. Taiwan is the first stop of our international journey and the start of our world travel adventure.
