We don't often feature 'New' bands on this channel but I can assure you these two women are exceptional talents. To keep complete creative control they have not signed to any record label, and yes they have had offers. They self produce and self release their material of which this is the new single. The website is - www.deamatrona.co.uk This is a video for the new Dea Matrona single Magic Spell released today on 17th October 2025. They are an Irish rock band based in Belfast and led by Orláith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn. Formally formed in 2018, the band have written and self-produced all of their catalogue to the present day. Both Orláith and Mollie sing and play multiple instruments, exchanging lead singing duties but also swapping their roles on bass and lead guitar. The band has of yet not released a video for the track (though I’m sure they will). In the meantime here is the single combined with footage from Fabrik, Hamburg on 3rd October 2025. The band is currently on tour and I am looking forward to the Glasgow Cathouse gig on the 14th of November which I am sure will be a belter.
