The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake will add up to 30 more horsepower and 60 ft-lbs of torque to your 2011 to 2014 Mustang GT in conjunction with a computer tune (required). Featuring an enormous 170mm intake tube, this JLT Performance Cold Air intake draws in cooler air that has greater oxygen density. This higher molecular concentration of oxygen allows the fuel system to inject more fuel to mix with the oxygen and thereby produce more power. A high flow, re-usable air filter prevents any debris from being ingested yet does not impede the flow of air into the intake manifold. The kit also includes an ABS plastic heat shield that blocks out unnecessary heat from entering the intake. A matching engine tune is required in order to have this cold air intake function properly. Quality Construction. The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake is available in textured black or carbon fiber finish. The intake tube is made from impact-resistant and high-quality ABS plastic that will deflect heat better than ordinary steel tubing. The washable and reusable air filter will negate the need to buy a new filter every time you service the car. It is recommended to wash and re-oil the filter at least once a year. Easy Bolt-on Installation. The JLT Performance Cold Air Intake is designed for the 2011 to 2014 Mustang GT with either a manual or automatic transmission.
