Frizz to Fab - RaDonas Haircut and Style In this video, you will see RaDona do a frizz to fab- RaDona’s Haircut and style. Everyone loves RaDona’s haircut so this is the perfect video! This is one of our short haircuts for women over 60. Today we have Bonnie with us. She met RaDona through our youtube channel. This special client came all the way from Nevada. To start out this client’s hair, RaDona added some red into her hair. Then for the cut, she wants something easy, sassy, and fun. This is a perfect hairstyle for anyone who wants something easy, sassy, and fun. This cut is perfect for anyone who is wanting to look younger. On this particular client, she wanted to have some of her shag, you do not need to do that, you can cut it straight. Before you start the cut, make sure you talk with your client to establish what side you want to be the designated longer side. With the short side, you will want to keep the length in. Not go back and forth like the other side. Make sure on the top and sides you are just taking small pieces off. You will use the point cut technique for this. By the ear, you will take the scissors and drag it a little bit, you will just take off a little bit at a time. RaDona informs you of how to tell if there is too much bulk in that section of the hair- it sticks out. On the long side, you will want to go tight around the ear so you can keep some of the length. After cutting, you will blow dry your hair. You will want to use an epic wet brush and the blowdryer to go both sides to help give volume and movement in the hair. After blowdrying your clients hair, you will use a flat iron. You will be able to see a huge difference with using a flat iron and using Monat’s blow out cream ( it gives so much shine). While she is blow drying her client’s hair, she is double checking and finishes styling/ cutting her hair. This way she makes sure that her hair is perfect and there are no little mistakes. It really helps with adding protein back into your hair and really helps get rid of those pesky split ends. Before RaDona blow dries the client’s hair, she uses Monats Root Lifter ( which helps give volume to her hair), then she uses only one squirt of Monats Monoxifying Moose ( this moose is super concentrated so you will only need one squirt of it.), she then uses Monats blow out cream.
