Woo it's been so long since I last made a long AMV/animation meme like this! Made this video to commemorate the Spring festival (春节, aka Chinese New Year), featuring all my OCs, past and present! Tried so many new things in this. The shadow puppet scene was a mess XDD I think I redid that dragon Kai puppet like 10 times and I'm actually still not very satisfied about how it looks. The lion dance scene took me like 2 days just to get the small details right, and the paper-cut decoration scene was quite tricky to tween with all the overlapping holes. I'm happy with what I was able to achieve tho! It's nice figuring out things from scratch and seeing it all come together after days of hard work Also incorporated some photos from my family trips to various parts of China cos I didn't want to draw backgrounds XDD The videos at the end was from my family's reunion dinner this year hehe This whole video was rushed in like one week's time cos I didn't want to miss the actual spring festival period. I could have polished many parts more but oh well, please just bear with the sketchy and rushed art I guess XDD hope yall can still enjoy the video!
