My name is Eric and I own and run a full service auto salvage business called Importapart located in the Saint Louis MO area. Part of our model is dismantling and selling parts from rare and niche market engines. I've torn down everything from an LS7 to a Renesis rotary engine. There are several videos to watch! Check out my playlist of engine teardowns here: • Blown Up Engine Tear Downs! A collect... In this video, I dismantle a D16Z6, 1.6L SOHC Vtec engine found in 92-95 Honda Civic EX, Si and Del Sol Si. This is not a core engine I went out and bought, but rather came from a car I bought at the auction and parted out. We could not get it started and after a compression test we condemned the engine.
