POV: Drive a 72-year-old tram! | 🚊 4K Tram Cabview | 🇳🇱 The Hague | PCC | Vintage tram ride

The Presidents' Conference Committee (PCC) is a tram design that was introduced in the United States in the 1930s. After the damage done by World War II, it was also adopted in multiple European countries. The Hague used their own version, manufactured by La Brugeoise in Bruges, Belgium. In this video, we drive two PCC cars from the 50s and 60s which were in line service for HTM until the beginning of the eighties. They are now operated by the public transport museum of The Hague (HOVM), which opens every Sunday for scenic rides through the city on these beautiful vintage trams. We start by shunting two PCCs outside of the depot, after which we will prepare one of them for a ride. Finally, we will take the 1022 (built in 1952) for a scenic tour through the city center towards Madurodam.
