I'll tell you a little story... Since I started going to electronic parties, I've always been drawn to La Biblioteca. I love that locations have their own history. The property dates back to 1860, and belonged to the family of Felicitas Guerrero. Located at Mexico 524, San Telmo, it was once the Argentine Society of Writers (SADE). Its first president was the controversial Leopoldo Lugones, years later it would be presided over by Borges himself, among other prominent personalities of Argentine culture. "How nice it would be to play in this place someday" is what I always thought when I went there. Today, that has already happened. This past September 21, we welcomed spring in Buenos Aires on the alternative dance floor of La Biblioteca with this closing set of pure Melodic Techno, by the hand of the production company SOMOS PRODUCE, to whom I thank very much for the invitation. Did you already know this alternative dance floor? ----------------------------------------------- Les cuento una pequeña historia… Desde que empecé a salir a fiestas electrónicas, siempre me llamo la atención La Biblioteca. Me fascina que las locaciones tengan su propia historia. La propiedad data de 1860, y perteneció a la familia de Felicitas Guerrero. Ubicada en México 524, San Telmo, supo ser la Sociedad Argentina de Escritores (SADE). Su primer presidente de la sociedad fue el controversial Leopoldo Lugones, años más tarde sería presidida por el mismísimo Borges, entre otras personalidades destacadas de la cultura argentina. “Que lindo sería alguna vez tocar en este lugar” es lo que siempre pensaba cuando iba ahí. Hoy, eso que tanto anhele ya sucedió.
