This is my 1st YOUTUBE choreography video post intended for educational purposes, entertainment, and show casing my contributions along with my fraternity brothers and members of all of the black greek lettered organizations to the art of stepping. Also to expose how history was made with the fraternities and sororities stepping together on stage on National Television for the 1st time. STOMP created by Frank Mercado Valdes produced by the World African network and Vic Bulluck which was the 1st syndicated step show competition on TV. History was made with the NAACP Image Awards as well as other iconic shows that i had the honor to choreograph along with my fraternity brother Jimmy Hamilton we are the original group known as"Step by Step" This art form is traced back to our african ancestors and the gumboot dancers & much respect to step afrika and Debbie Allen. It has been developed, preserved, and nurtured here the USA by black fraternities and sororities and in recent years since becoming mainstream it has now expanded to jr high & high schools, churches,incorporated into dance, hip hop, and cheer leading competitions allowing this art form to continue to grow reaching new heights since the days of spike lees movie "school daze" in which members of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity are featured stepping. Shout out to my frat brothers and the best is yet to come. Finally i have decided to document here on youtube and my face book page because it gives me freedom to work @ my own pace.
