This is the final stretch of my solo road trip through Oman - and it might just be the most challenging AND most beautiful part of the entire journey. In this episode, I leave Jebel Shams behind and drive down some of the most intense mountain roads I’ve tackled so far: Wadi Bani Awf. From wandering through Misfat al Abriyeen to navigating the steep descent toward Snake Canyon, this part of Oman tested both my driving skills and my confidence. I explore Little Snake Canyon on foot, searching for the right route through narrow rock passages and swimming sections, before ending the journey with one last wild campsite in the mountains.
