The McLeoud Racing RXT Twin Disc Clutch is ideal for any 2001-2010 Mustang that is running a power adder (supercharger, turbocharger) or a big shot of nitrous. Capable of holding up to 1000 horsepower, the RXT is more than capable of handling the abuse of a track car yet is very docile on the street. This is due to its twin disc design, allowing for more clutch surface area and therefore not requiring a super strong pressure plate that would otherwise translate to a very heavy clutch pedal. 10-Spline or 26-Spline Available. The McLeod Racing RXT Twin Disc 1000HP Clutch features a pair of ceramic-faced twin spring hub friction clutch discs. The kit comes complete with a pressure plate that is designed to be friendly to your left foot with a soft and light pedal feel, a floater plate, adapter ring and pilot tool. This system is perfect for modified 2001 to 2010 GT, 2003 to 2004 Cobra, and 2003 to 2004 Mach 1 equipped with a T-56 tranny and upgraded 26-spline input shaft. McLeod does offer this same clutch in a 10-spline version as well, which will work with the factory transmissions. Professional Installation Required. This McLeod Racing RXT Twin Disc 1000HP Clutch is a 26-spline clutch and therefore requires your Mustang to have a 26-spline input shaft on the transmission (aftermarket T56, TKO-500, TKO-600). Due to the complex nature of the procedure, professional installation is highly recommended.
